Hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails are readily accessible from Prairie du Chien. Walk to downtown shops and restaurants as well as the newly restored Victorian country estate, Villa Louis.

BREAKFAST
An important part of any bed & breakfast experience is the morning fare. The Neumann House takes pride in its bountiful table featuring regional foodstuffs including cheese, butter, apples, cranberries and breakfast meats. Full breakfast served in the dining room, weekend mornings, is composed of coffee, juice, fruit, entree, and baked goods. Weekdays, a lighter breakfast buffet is available.Your special dietary needs are always considered when the morning menu is planned.
The Neumann House Kitties
Three friendly felines reside at Neumann House. Each has its own unique personality. Most of our guests find a few minutes for a quick pet or scratch under the chin of one of our girls. Because this is their home guest pets cannot be accommodated.

Meena is our official guest greeter. The oldest in our cat family, she was the runt of a litter born to a neighborhood alley cat in our garage. Mama cat left her in payment for maternity ward care. A quiet kitty, Meena awaits your arrival in the Neumann House parlor. |

Mitze is a beautiful calico kitty who likes to be where the action is. She often acts shy but is secretly wishing you'd give her a quick little belly rub. Born on a farm, but a gift to the Neumann House when she was three months old, Mitz has learned all the skills of enamoring our guests. |

Tiger is the latest kitty to join our bed and breakfast family. Another alley cat rescue, he inherited a good number of cuddle genes. He's a lap cat for sure; but unfortunately, he also likes to pounce on his sisters if given the chance. He spends all his time in the owner's' quarters. |
